What is GPS@Work?

GPS at Work LLC ^SM offers a software and hardware system which employs GPS (global positioning satellite) technology to track vehicle movements. The system requires that a transponder (a small device which sends a signal to a satellite) be placed on a vehicle, allowing its precise movements to be tracked.

GPS at Work LLC ^SM allows a vehicle owner to rent a transponder to track a vehicle’s whereabouts. A hard copy report is then provided detailing the location, direction, speed and time of the vehicle over the period the technology was in place. These reports could be useful to:

1. A concerned parent with a youthful driver
2. A lawyer trying to track a vehicle
3. An insurance company with dubious insureds
4. An employer wishing to know whereabouts of company vehicles
5. A businessman with unsecured assets
6. A spouse wishing to track his/her vehicle driven by wayward spouse

The cost of this service has come down to a level where it can be offered economically. For a one week rental of the transponder and a report of the vehicle’s activity during the period, the cost is $350.00 plus refundable deposit.
