Alan W. Waldron
Web Development Services
Launched May 2007
This is Blueliner's mirror site, and home of primary developer, Alan Waldron.
Real Estate Agent
Rindy Bliss
Web Site Prototype
This prototype was developed for local real estate agent, Rindy Bliss. No web site was actually built because the project is currently on hiatus.
GPSatWork.com
Launched January 2005
GPS@Work was a start-up company that sold GPS devices to install into vehicles and offered web applications that geographically tracked the movements of the devices.
We built a simple brochure-ware web site for the company that briefly described the services, contact information, news items and pricing information.
The company has since closed, but a demo of the site is available.
Big Dog Vending
Launched March, 2002
Big Dog Vending is a company that distributes vending machines, such as gumball machines and coffee makers. They also run Dart Leagues all across the Pittsburgh area.
They use their web site to promote their business and to post Dart League statistics and standings.
We also designed the company's logo, which is my favorite logo design to this day.
Lytehouse Bay Candle Company
Launched October, 2003
This was a project put together for a small, home-based candle manufacturer. The web site allowed the owner to sell her candles and supplies to anyone in the world. Leveraging PayPal's shopping cart tools kept client costs down.

National Sports Challenge
Launched July, 1999
The National Sports Challenge was the first attempt at creating a tournament for Playstation gamers to compete to be crowned the best Madden 2000 player in Pittsburgh.
The website built for this client was used to promote tournaments and to post standings and statistics.
It was a great idea, but slightly ahead of its time. And promotion was difficult due to the lack of social networking on the internet at the time.
US Army Corps of Engineers
Launched February, 2000
At the time, we were responsible for maintaining and improving the intranet for the Pittsburgh District. They were kind enough to buy a copy of Macromedia Flash, a technology that was new and hot at the time, and we quickly dove into toying with the product.
Interestingly, they allowed us to make one of our first Flash creations the home page for the intranet. And if you view the demo below, you might just flash back to early 2000, when sites like these, with their mediaocre vector graphics and animations, were all too common.
Trilogy
Launched February, 2000
In an attempt to capitalize on the Pop Band rage of the late nineties, a local trio of performers formed Trilogy, an all-girl pop group.
They recorded a demo, hired us to build a web site, then fought over the creative direction of the group and broke up. That's Hollywood for ya...
John Damratoski
Contemporary Metal
Launched October, 2003
This web site is another simple, brochure site meant to display the work of John Damratoski. He created spectacular handrails, tables and artworks.
The gallery on the site was promotion enough, but the services pages provided more information about his work.
Penn State University
Orientation 100
Launched November 1997
This website was built for Penn State University and the Office of Information and Communications. Their main responsibility was freshmen orientaiton. We built a web site called Orientation 100, it had a read and quiz format. Students would read a page about a certain topic at Penn State, and then be quizzed on afterward.
We created a character called "The Dean" who guides the student through the website.
AmericanForum.net
Launched January 2004
AmericanForum.net was built in early 2004 as a way to capitalize on the buzz surrounding the upcoming Bush/Gore presidential election. Some of our employees had an hour long commute to and from work at the time and listened to a lot of political talk radio, so they knew what was going on in the world.
A user base was successfully built up in only a few months, and was sold to a buyer that April. We made a profit... Mission accomplished!
